Dr Dayanath Jayasuriya is a prominent financial crime compliance expert and eminent lawyer elated to the title of President’s Counsel. He has served in high-profile positions within the United Nations including that as Head of a UN Agency in Pakistan and Chief Technical Adviser to the UN International Drug Control Programme. He has served as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission in Sri Lanka and he has been a U.N. adviser to countries in Europe, Central Asian Republics, Asia, Africa, South America and the South Pacific on regulatory aspects. He has written more than 20 books, 25 monographs and published over 200 articles.
